We and the other synods were so successful at raising funds for motorcycles in 2010 that the need has been met. However, this fund will help with maintenance, and perhaps helmets.
President Golike explained that local pastors walk or ride bicycle
s as they serve their congregations. Motorcycles will increase their capacity to serve and will be used to transport people for health care.
These motorcycles are made in Kenya and shipped to the C.A.R. They are a typical mode of transportation — other than on foot!
Motorcycles are a huge gift.
