Together, in Christ’s name, students will gather on March 25-26, 2011 to fight hunger. They learn about hunger - and then they do something about it. They raise funds. They experience hunger for themselves. As individuals, congregations, and synods, our humble offerings and actions are gathered, blessed, and multiplied. Together, we are ELCA World Hunger.

Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. Since 1994 the program has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 45 states. Angel Food boxes contain both fresh and frozen items at a price that is less than found in retail grocery stores. One unit of food will assist a family of 4 for about 1 week or a single senior citizen for almost a month. There are no qualifications, minimums, income restrictions, or applications.
