Mission Partners ...

Mission Partners are congregations linked together in dynamic relationships to empower and expand the outreach ministry of ELCA congregations. Through supportive relationships, these congregations share in the excitement of proclaiming God's love.

 

Linkages developed between rural, suburban or urban congregations, which encompass a variety of cultures and languages, enrich and invigorate the ministries of both partners.

 

While Mission Partners are available across the nation and world, in our synod we encourage each congregation to create partnerships within their Local Area Mission Strategy (LAMS).

 

Congregations Supporting Each Other Through:

Prayer, Presence and Presents

• Congregations share each other's joys and concerns.

• Congregations and individual members offer spiritual and emotional encouragement in creative ways.

• Members actively share their time and talents.

• Mission Partners provide concrete items such as musical instruments, office equipment, or Sunday School materials.

• Financial gifts may help purchase signage, create publicity brochures, enable the ministry to afford a musician, or contribute to program support.
