“ … you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
Stewardship = Generous Living
What is stewardship?
Let’s start by identifying what stewardship is not. Stewardship is not a program, not a fall campaign for the budget, not a one-shot learning experience. Stewardship is not just about money.
Stewardship is “everything we do after we say 'I believe.'” The buttons to your left guide you through the stewardship strategy, resources, and efforts that help us connect the resources of the church to the ministries in which we engage.
The mission of our synod (shared with each of the congregations of our synod) is to make disciples. When we do that, we will become a network of growing, Christ-centered, outwardly focused congregations passing the faith to the next generation. Healthy, faithful stewardship is the lifeblood of the ministry of the Body of Christ.
