2011 Synod Assembly - May 20-22, Galveston, TX
After the Assembly – Making the Next Move
If you attended the Synod Assembly, chances are you were motivated and inspired about the opportunities for intergenerational ministry in your setting. You may have even made a commitment to a series of “next moves” that will engage your congregation more deeply with intergenerational ministry.
The synod staff is deeply committed to providing resources for congregations to carry out this critical work. We are working on adding all of the resources available at the Synod Assembly to this web page. If something is missing, please email mandy@gulfcoastsynod.org and we will locate it and put it up.
For those of you who may be wondering, “Well, now what?” or who could use some additional training and resourcing in the area of intergenerational ministry (and really, who couldn’t?), please mark your calendar for our Fall Leadership Gatherings. Choose the one closest to you or the one that works with your schedule, and invite your congregation’s key leaders, children and youth volunteers, parents, grandparents, single adults to participate in this one-day, hands-on training opportunity.
